Our classes are age-appropriate, though in some cases children may be grouped according to their abilities rather than age alone. If your child is ready to move up to a higher class, we may do so only at the beginning of a term. We have three main terms, each three months long.
Snow White Nursery has adopted a number of policies and procedures for children's physical and emotional protection, including our Protection Policy, Healthy Food Policy, "No Nuts" Policy, Sickness & Health Policy, Discipline Policy, Equal Opportunities Policy, Settling Policy and Open Door Policy.
- We take children's physical health and safety very seriously.
- We make sure every child is emotionally, happily settled.
- Every child is given equal chances to develop and shine.
- We constantly encourage good behaviour and focus on high values.
- We work together with parents for each child's best interest.
Kindly find our policies in full detail in our Parent's Handbook, and read them carefully.
We have taken high standards of safety measures, including:
- An outdoor play area that's 80% shaded to prevent overheating or dehydration.
- A rubber-based floor covering the outdoor and indoor play areas and classrooms for extra safety.
- Safety cameras installed on campus.
- High fences separating the different outdoor areas.
- A dedicated safety guard.
- The ground floor reserved for classes and soft play, with the 1st floor kept for offices only.
- Three emergency exits from different sides of the villa.
- An experienced nurse and an on-call qualified doctor.
- An experienced nutritionist.
- Experienced international teachers and staff, with a high teacher-to-child ratio.
- Safe, high-quality, age-appropriate furniture, facilities and toys.
- Appropriate grouping of children by age and numbers.
- Extra hygiene measures — toys and facilities are constantly washed, disinfected and kept clean.
Upon registration, you'll find a "Consent Form" in your Parent's Information Pack. Please fill in and sign this form — children will only be released to the parents and adults named on it. Release to any other adult may occur only with a written authorisation signed and dated by the parent, together with direct communication with the Nursery Manager. In this case, identification may be requested from the new collector, and in some cases we may ask for a password or the child's file number.
We're always happy to help with any questions or enquiries, and always ready to hear your suggestions or comments. Please share your thoughts by filling out our Comment Form and dropping it in the Comment Box at reception — we'll get back to you as soon as possible. You'll find this form with the Parent's Handbook package and at reception.
We provide potty training whenever your child is emotionally and physically ready. Kindly check our Potty Training information for more details.
We help your child settle happily into nursery life. Kindly check our Settling Policy steps for more details.
Your child's special day is very important to us. Kindly notify us one week in advance so we can prepare. We have an amazing birthday party area — colourful, spacious and naturally lit. The party usually lasts 20–30 minutes, with children listening and dancing to songs, eating, and singing Happy Birthday. Parents, siblings and grandparents, plus a couple of families from your close friends or relatives, are welcome to celebrate too. Extras such as a short video or face painting can be arranged in advance.
You may want to bring:
- Birthday invitation cards (at least 3–4 days in advance, for distribution).
- Party accessories — plates, plastic spoons, napkins.
- Your child's birthday cake and candles.
- One table cover for the main cake table (optional).
- Snacks, juice, pies, mini sandwiches or "happy meals" for classmates (optional).
- Balloons or other decorations (optional).
